The Home
A purpose built 6 bed former church registered with Ofsted, based in the quiet East Lancashire town of Great Harwood. Good transport links to bigger towns of Blackburn and Clitheroe. This amazing children’s home comprises of two large communal areas and one smaller area, a dining room, a kitchen/diner, a staff room, three staff sleep in rooms, a large sensory hall with various pieces of equipment, two wet rooms and one toilet area. There is a large outdoor area including a sensory garden, decked area and large car park, set back in its own grounds for privacy.
Our Support Workers
Our skilled residential support workers are trained to a high level and provide 24 hours per day care within the home.
Nurses Input
Our in-house Learning Disability Nurse and Registered General Nurse are heavily involved in the care given at The Meadows @ GS

The home is managed by Registered Manager - Naomi Grime and the Responsible Individual is Faye Mellor.
